Tobey Van Orsdell

Tobey Van Orsdell has over 18 years of experience from working in Boston’s best salons. He has a passion for relaxed beachy colors, textured cuts, bright blondes, and thinks everyone should be pink once in their life! His process to achieve your hair goals is to gradually build it over time to maintain integrity of the hair. Hair color is a journey and clients should enjoy the ride. The result is hair that is healthy and looks good for months.

As an educator for assistants at his former salons, Tobey understands the importance of continually learning to improve his craft. He has completed continuing education with Wella, Kevin Murphy, Goldwell, Olaplex, and Hairtalk extensions. Tobey is a Goldwell Master Colorist, the highest level of certification from Goldwell. He has studied with celebrity stylists across the country: Ramirez Tran Salon, Tracey Cunningham, 901 Salon, Briana Cisneros, and many others.

Tobey believes that one of the essential parts of the service is the initial consultation. Every process is unique to each client, and he will take the time to work with you to achieve your hair goals with honesty and realistic expectations.
